AntifragiCity will take part in the European Conference on Product and Process Modelling (ECPPM 2026), which will be held at Cardiff University from 9 to 11 September 2026.
ECPPM is the flagship conference of the European Association of Product and Process Modelling (EAPPM) and has brought together researchers and practitioners working in information modelling, digital construction and the built environment since 1994.
The 2026 conference is expected to welcome approximately 100 participants from universities, research organisations, industry and other institutions. Around 74 papers have been accepted, including three papers arising from AntifragiCity. These contributions will provide an opportunity to present and discuss our current research with the wider scientific and professional community.
The conference programme covers three days and currently includes 72 scheduled presentations, 14 technical sessions, two workshops, two special sessions, six keynote lectures and a panel discussion. The programme also includes opportunities for discussion and networking, including the conference dinner at Cardiff Castle.
The scientific outputs of the conference will also have a lasting open-access record. Accepted and registered papers will form part of the ECPPM 2026 proceedings and will be made openly available with permanent Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), including through Zenodo. A selection of papers will also be nominated for consideration by the Journal of Information Technology in Construction (ITcon), subject to the journal’s own review and editorial process.
AntifragiCity special session in ECPPM 2026 represents an important opportunity to disseminate our results, receive feedback from the research community, establish new links with researchers and practitioners, and increase awareness of our work on resilient and antifragile urban systems.
