BratislavaAntifragiCity Forum

How should Bratislava move — in daily life and in times of crisis? Urban mobility affects everyone; from daily commutes to disruptions caused by natural hazards, infrastructure failures, or social challenges. These pressures highlight the urgent need for mobility systems that are adaptive, inclusive, and resilient.

The AntifragiCity Forum in Bratislava invites residents to participate in a unique civic dialogue on the future of mobility. Around 40 residents will be selected to reflect the diversity of the city’s population. Together, participants will explore how mobility systems can better meet everyday needs while also responding effectively during crises.

Mobility is not just about getting from A to B; it shapes how we live, work, and connect. The Bratislava AntifragiCity Forum will focus on this central question:

What urban mobility will make your city more liveable today and prepared to respond to future crises?

Through guided discussions with experts and fellow residents, participants will share experiences, exchange ideas, and contribute to a collective vision for resilient urban mobility. Outcomes will be shared with local stakeholders and feed into European-level research and policy.

While the Forum is not organised by the city government, it provides a meaningful opportunity for residents to influence discussions both locally and across Europe.

For more details about the process, participant selection, and outcomes, see our FAQ.

This initiative is part of the AntifragiCity project, funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe program (Grant No. 101203052).
